Jinoo and Brooke’s wedding was a beautiful and joyous celebration, marking a wonderful union of cultures. The images capture a vibrant ceremony that appears to blend traditional Indian wedding customs with Western participation, creating a unique and memorable atmosphere.
Brooke looked radiant in a traditional red and gold saree, complemented by a contrasting green blouse with detailed gold embroidery. She was adorned with traditional Indian wedding jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, a maang tikka, and a distinctive nose ring (nath). Her hands also featured henna designs and bangles. Jinoo was dressed in traditional Indian groom’s attire, consisting of a white veshti (dhoti) and angavastram (shawl) with a red and gold border, and a white turban. Both wore beautiful floral garlands.
The ceremony seems to have taken place outdoors or in a semi-outdoor venue, featuring a decorated mandap-like structure with red and gold drapes and floral arrangements. An interesting backdrop seen in some photos is a large white arched panel with text, flanked by decorative lattice arches, adorned with red and white flowers and lotus-themed stands.
